Elmo Well don't be too suprised m8. He moderates how I play...quick to cover up mistakes. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif I too observed the edits, and you have to say, at least he recognized the situation and edited as necessary. At least he recognized the situation/mistakes made, and was willing to correct it. And what happened to the picture that was on the Annual Meeting page? I think that was seriously one of the best parts of the whole site. I recommend you re-add it somehow http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wave.gif .

Yes I agree with you. The tracks that most interest me are the Muslim Ones. Although....I have heard more than one, so I don't believe they are limited to only one. I seem to always hear the same non-Muslim track almost every game....and I've gotten to a point where I'm past tired of hearing it, to where I just don't even pay attention. But I have heard more than one Arab Tension track, this I can assure you. Of course, this might be due to the fact that I've had just short of 300 games since my last re-install (according to logfiles), but this is much after the patch came out, so that possibility of a change would be ruled out. Long story short, yes it seems that 95% of the time you're going to get the same track over and over again, but sometimes it may change http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif . If it really bothers you, then you can always change the track itself. This is a long post, so sorry, but I'm still gonna say this.

If you want to change the music (and this has probably already been posted in the Dungeon) then the absolute best way to do it is find a music clip that you can stand to listen to over and over. The best thing (maybe not necessary, I just looked for something in the Dungeon, couldn't find anything) is that the song file you replace is the same size as the one that you take out. I used to edit Dreamcast games and put in my own music (so for instance I could play Tony Hawk with whatever music I wanted to) and it had to be VERY close to the same size as the original music. This isn't too hard to do as the music is all wavs (try doing it in adx format http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/tongue.gif ) . Then just make sure that the new file is the exact same name as the original file, and it will be loaded in place of the original....its not like the program will notice the difference.

That way, you could have some rock music...classical....or whatever else you wanted....as your MTW music http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Much appreciated m8 http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif What are you confused about? I would be happy to help if I can. Although I think mostly logical...the technical side of what I know comes strictly from this. So like someone who doesn't know that much about the technical side...I tend to think that the same things will work in both instances. And they should if what I have already said is true. However, I don't think that computer games rely on track position....in fact now that I think about it I know that comp games don't rely as much on specific position as much as console games do. With Dreamcast games, the LBA pos. was very specific, and had to be completely right in order for the game to work correctly. Since MTW can exist on very different parts of each persons drive and still work correctly I'm pretty sure that only the file name works to choose what is accessed. Although the ability to loop audio tracks is still something I wonder about. I know it was possible in other formats...but not sure in this case. Oh well....haven't seen the need for it so might not matter.

I didn't know where to put it. The link you supplied went to the same thread as the first post but the second doesn't fit there. I tracked down the post that dealt with music by Asus and put your post in there. I also deleted my other post in the .com vs .org thread.
