I'm using a D-link ADSL router/firewall and I'm trying to set it up so I can host MTW games. I've seen a couple of previous posts about this and the answers point to this link:

http://www.gamespyarcade.com/support/firewalls.shtml

so I've configured the router to redirect all the ports mentioned to my machine's IP address, but people still can't see my games when I host. I know I'm setting up the port redirection properly because it works for my ftp server.

Anyone got any ideas? Does MTW use any other ports besides those?

Medieval uses port 18321 for its own game traffic so you'll need to open that one.

I tried redirecting 18321 as well but people still can't see my games. However I also tried redirecting all tcp and udp ports (1-65535) to my pc and when I do this it works, I can host. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif Although this is not exactly secure

I port scanned the machine while hosting a game to find out if it uses any other ports but the only extra one that comes up is 18321. So this doesn't really make sense to me but at least I have a way to host games.
