I was recently playing a game, and was looking forward to punishing everyone with some gunpowder weapons, yet for some reason I can not build any of them.
I have build master foundries, and master seige workshops to boot (just in case), but not so much as a bombard.
Have I done seomthing seriously wrong here, such as they don't get cannon, or has anyone else suffered with this problem as well?

That's often a function of the era. Has the 'gunpowder-been-discovered' parchment come up yet? If not, hang on; it will, and you'll be ready.

Yup, before that comes up, you can't build the gunsmith and the rest (I'm using the 1.1 patch - sorry, should have mentioned it&#33http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

Someone correct me if I'm wrong: the Late Era starts in year 1321. Your cannons should be available after that.
