What I would love to see in the game, are Indian Battle Elephants I have no idea how this can be justified historicaly, for I know of no battle in the medieval period that used them, but I am sure we all heard of Hannibal.
I would love to see a very small, very costly (insane support cost), but devastating unit.

Opinions plz http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Hm, perhaps for the Muslim factions. But I'd think it's more appropriate for the upcoming Rome Total War...

i think that would be really cool as i think the Egyptians used merc elephants from India or they could get them from africa i suppose http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smokin.gif

but it could make the game unbalanced

Supposedly you can't Train African elephants.

But regardless you will get Elephants in RTW

You do realize that two days after RTW comes out somebody will complain about the lack of elephant droppings on the battlefield and how the game suffers from its abscence. Then they'll cite a historical battle in which elephant turds played a major role: ...and then Roman general Gnitius Pickius slipped on an elephant patty and was knocked out cold. Thus the fortune of battle changed...

Sorry for the interruption, but I just had this vision and I know it will happen. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/rolleyes.gif

Given the size and aroma of elephant turds, could they be defined as an ancient W.M.D?
