That kinda sucks... I kept building kensai only for a few years after my heir was 16 but he never activated. Seems your heirs cant become kensai and my guess would be that goes for battlefield ninja but I havent checked.

also Kensai can not be other famous (pre-ranked) generals even with a drill dojo
