Here is me thinking, currently there are many great mods out. Some make the game more historically accurate, others more interesting, and some are just plain fun.
Having gone through the nightmare of trying to sort through them all, wondering which one belonged to which catagory, what quality it was, wondering what others thought of it,and if they could rate it how would they?.
Would it be possible,or when would it be possible. to catagorize, sort, and perhaps arange a brief description along with the ability for others to rate it. Following along the lines of Total War Assembly's excellent war academy section.
The talent is there.. there are some incredible Mods, along with some needing that little more.As I said having them catagorized would be a huge step in the right direction.I greatly apreciate the amount of mods on The Org, however sorting though them in a trial-and-error proccess gets annoying after awile..
Perhaps writing a few comprehensive How to guides for those wanting to install them, or create mods would be nice as well...
Its just a Idea for orginization and helping others enjoy the tremendous modding capability of Medieval..
Let me know what you think and if we can get a plan underway.
JS,
(I thought i would post this here also to allow disscussion for some of the newer players)
