Has this happened to anyone else, Having for the first time bombaderos (spanish) comes at the same time as pistoleros, the fist evolution of gunpowder, I created a few and induced the turks to attack of course planning my defence carefully but limiting mysel in troops so I could try these new weapons, so after meticously spending a 30 min to deploy my troops( 3o units of reserves, I start only to find the position I have put them is backwards and I am unable to use them at all http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif but thank god for reserves
Now a Question My best General are jinettes Spanish and have a ranging of 9 but due to many battles there are only them left in there froups can I replenish them to give them a group of 20 again?

Hi Yoko,

Not sure if I understand your question, but perhaps I'll take a stab at it all the same...

Your generals are Spanish jinettes, yes? In that case move them to any province in which you can train jinettes (Leon, Castille, Aragon, Cordoba, Grenada, Navarre, Valencia), open the training window, and drag the unit icon from the bottom of the screen into one of the training slots.

Any units re-trained in this manner will acquire any bonuses that affect units created in whatever province you re-train them in. (Does that make ANY sense? http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif ) What I mean is, if you have a metalsmith in Leon, any troops you train and / or re-train there will gain bonuses to their weaponry. Likewise with armour, if you've built an armoury. This, of course, costs money, how much depending on how many troops need to be replaced / upgraded.

This being the case, you perhaps should re-train your generals' units in the most highly developed jinette-creating province you have, for the most potent effect. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
