PART 7 - Locking threads



Now posting such a brand new thread,
revives such words at bay.
To lock a thread is wise? (or just
- a naieve go away?).


For one to read such verse and state
Enough of this, now closed
Well, that's quite sad, it seems to add,
restrictions when opposed.


It's hard to see how one can be,
unbiased by such action.
My verse, requested by a Mod,
just serves to cause distraction.


Whilst Greg requested my response,
in respect of his poetry.
Now TosaInu's jumped right in,
and stopped such discord - haughty.


So whilst a shame, let's play the game
The Org's requested poetry.
I try to please, and angst release,
but threads to lock, appalls me.


To silence other viewpoints and
a priviledge revoke?
Does such intent, diguise a bent,
comprise a mere cloak?


Does all this serve, and so deserve,
to mask any contention,
of Mods requests, and such behests,
thus hiding true intention?


If no-one offers clear response
within this basic medium.
And just reply It's locked, Oh my,
- it's nothing more than tedium.


If one can't strive, or poetry scrive,
but answers via clamour.
Whilst so opposed, to offer Closed,
how sad is such ones manner.


Attempts as such, to feign so much,
quiese intelligence.
It offers 'nought, with little thought,
and much less elequence.

PART 8 - Misunderstandings, albeit problems



As you peruse alternate views
expressed within this thread.
It may appear to some It's clear,
he's just having his head


Hang on, not true, I said this thread,
not so - should one peruse them.
When certain Mods are locking threads
to withhold views (refuse them&#33http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif.


By thread I really meant two threads,
Oh dear, it's so confusing.
But try as may, I'll have my say,
- Mod prejudice excusing.


Mod prejudice would seem to be
stifling Org opinion.
A biased Mod?. That so? Good God
... do such ones crave dominion?


To silence other people and.
such priviledge revoke?
Does such a ploy, ones words destroy,
opinion serve to cloak?


Now some may think this little verse
has taken a bad turn.
It really was'nt meant to be
when will some people learn?


A software bug or so I've heard,
a flood control relation?
To explain why, still waiting ... sigh
for full clarificiation.


I wait and wait, and whilst relate
these verse, don't wish to harress
But ask I must, appears unjust,
do some questions embarress?


So lock this thread, another one,
to hope such words forgotton.
But don't forget, I've no regret,
'cos eggs are eggs - quite rotten.


Ok, 'nuff said, so far you've read,

PART 9 - Conclusion



I'll no more preach but hope I reach
some hearts (as now I've spoken).
Whilst words mean 'nowt (ok, my fault)
have I some thoughts awoken?


You've read so far, perhaps you feel
I'm being disrespective.
Fair point, maybe, I only ask
maintain your own perspective.


To anyone who feels their wronged
and cannot find solutions.
I'll offer this, maintain your bliss,
and not jump to conclusions.


Perhaps you'll see, eventually,
it is'nt shady dealing.
As said before, a software flaw,
can generate ill feeling.


But should you fear, it is'nt clear,
why such restrictions warrant.
One post per day, then have your say

And should you put your thoughts to verse,
to highlight your position.
Then play it fair, and just beware,
of unjust criticism.


It's seems to me that should one be
dishonest in their writing.
It's just perceived, as One so grieved

When I joined the org I read some rules
These statements where an agreement on my behalf
The spirit of which is to minimise fools
And to stop flame wars, unfair comments and nasty laugh.

For the spirit of this forum and its delight
Is how free we can all interact without malice.
Are the mods what make this place right
No it is the patrons who do not just take the piss.

Now I will be accused of living in an ivory tower
Being to close to the group that are the forum caretaker.
Yet it is in your actions that lie the power
You can choose your way, may that be joy or to meet your maker.

In short you have liberty at this site, may I remind you what that means and not from your responsibilies should you cower.
Liberty is the right to all the the freedoms within the law not carte blanche to be a society shaker.
