I am a Suporting Staff for a medium size company based in Brisbane, California. If you want to know about my company, check out the website Monster Cable Product, Inc. (http://www.MONSTERCABLE.com/)
My main responsibilities:
- Trainer of Second Shift (4:00 PM to 12:30 AM).
- Assistance Floor Supervisor.
- In-house Tech support. Mainly about technical issues of the products and PC stuffs.
- Most of the office work in the Second Shift.
Good benefit. Nice working environment. Also, the company pay for all of the Skill Improvement classes that I have to take at least once a year.
Average wage.
It wasn't the right job for my field of studying. My programming skills go to waste since I took this job 7 years ago and I hate electrical stuffs.

I work on internet/intranet pages for a healthcare company. I've been programming for about 10 years. Before that I got a M.A. and was working on a Ph.D. Burned out from trying to learn Hebrew and Aramaic. Greek wasn't too bad. So 10 years ago I had a career goal change. I try to put some of the programming skills into my website -- though I haven't had time to get too fancy. I've gotten a lot of activity after uploading pages about the LotR movies. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/dizzy.gif
