Yep MP is down again. Just lovely.

How come we can't have a reliable online service available?

Its frustrating when times have been arranged and stuff like this goes down.

This is far from tragic, this is only the second time mtw has been down a while as far as I know. Nox (rpg game) was down for a week once.

During STW/MI times the multiplayer server went down for even a week or so. So it's natural that we old butts fear long forgotten threats for our virtual demi-god existence...

i think its my fault.. I lost two battles straight and after the 2nd battle, I ask god if I'm gonna lose the next one too, to give me a sign to save me from further disgrace.. I think I have the answer http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/frown.gif http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/shock.gif

I've been online since 03:00 GMT March 20th and had no problems.

No interuption in service for me, which means this is GREAT compared to STW. We would have had to wait until next monday with STW.

Ok this might not be the best place to say this, but goldfish, what does the last line of your sig say? I've put both the first sentence, the last sentence, and the whole thing together in a Google search, and I've only come up with topics from either this site, or your own SG application site. What does it mean?

It's an old latin phrase requesting to be served more spaghetti.

http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/joker.gif LOL Major.

Well next time the MTW server is down, why don't you all just pop into MI/WE for a walk into memory lane, well you might have to run because its quicker here, lol.

No server problems here.

yeah i had some good times using my roommates slower machine to go to stw/mi and play some games during the "drought". Seemed when i went on in late evening i could usually get about 8 or 9 ppl. I also got a lot of noobs who had to be walked through the patching process, and most of them had 56k. I helped a lot of folks out and spent hours doing it several nights out of sheer boredom, and I think I deserve a special spot in total War heaven for my efforts...

BTW, after playing total noobs so many times those few months now i know how u guys must feel playing me at MTW....you're sitting there laughing and thinking "Oh I can't believe he just did that, this is going to be so funny"....

Pa Si Buay Chao - Unmoving even in Face of Death.

Si Liao Ka Song - Honour and Glory in Death Itself.

i'm sorry Dumpy but for once you are wrong http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/pat.gif but ErikJansen got it http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wave.gif http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

its actually hokkien, a dialect of the chinese language... thats how the statement sounds when translated to hokkien.

well "Pa Si Buay Chao" literally mean 'Unmoving even if beaten to death', and "Si Liao Ka Song" literally means 'feel good to die'
