Hey, all... here's a fascinating little phenomenon I've experienced with the geisha a few times with the original STW.
I send a particular geisha to assasinate a given enemy general... but then I watch as she continues to move through MY territory.
When she finally does get to actually entertain the selected general, the event is still in MY territory.
Now, here's the quirk. Immediately after she's done killing him, she then ends up killing one of my own generals!
What's happened here in these cases is that both generals have had the SAME NAME.
Now, the first time this happened, I wondered if there was some secret Judas Geisha betrayal mechanism I hadn't heard about.
Then I wondered if my general was planning to betray me in consultations with the enenemy general the geisha was originally assigned, and he just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
But when I noticed that both generals had the same name, I figured it must have been some glitch in the program. I wrote Support an e-mail about this but never heard back. I don't know if there was a patch issued that solved this or what.
I have yet to see a similar phenomena take place in WE/TMI... I sure hope I don't! I would just HATE to lose a daimyo or a complete campaign that way! Sheesh!
