Honestly, i don't see what all the griping is about. It was obviously the case that patching MI/WE wasn't out of the question because Target and The Shogun have come to these very forums and explicitly stated that they will consider patching things once everyone's got the expansion...

But don't let me get started on a rant (this stuff is getting infectious). I'll just say that i suspected that CA wasn't completely pulling the plug on all things Shogun... and (with respect to the 1.13 patch) that EA would never give away what they could sell. http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/wink.gif

Also, with repect to the mutiplayer campaign, i believe Target came to these forums before the x-pack was even released and explained why the whole thing wasn't feasible... it seemed to be a reasonable explanation, and therefore i didn't expect to see it for WE/MI at all.

These folks at CA have got a lotta work ahead of them for the next Total War game. I am of the opinion that we should let them do their jobs... enjoy what we've got now, because we're going to be playing it for awhile...
