What are the chances we could have like a little patch, a tiny one, that allows us to alter koku for each side, and provides an era where Mongol and Japanese units are available to each side?

You could go to sleep, and little elves would come and fix the games at night and leave them all new and shiny on the benches for you in the morning....

PS Santa (AKA Target), could I also have an elephant-based unit for Thai battles too, I've been a very good boy this year!

Elephants probly wouldn't work out in the eras of combat we're dealing with.. at least that's just a hunch of mine. Elephants, once you get over the initial shock of them, are only particularly effective vs. cavalry, and it didn't take long for the Romans to figue out how to deal with them when they came to the battlefield in that era. Elephants additionally are a pain to supply and maintain, are particularly vulnerable to missle fire, and can be rather easily spooked by strange noises, long spears, and/or missle fire, in which case they frequently trample their own armies.

So they're certainly effective in some eras, but in my estimation not vs. Japs or Mongols of the era we're dealing with, and in ALL eras they are an unreliable pain in the friggin rear :-)

But I know you were just joking about wanting a elephant unit hehe..

P.S.: I hereby am acknowledging the possibility that Dunhill has some extra knowledge which may blow away parts of what I have just said. I doubt it, but I have a sinking feeling. Anyway..

I don't have any extra knowledge, I just want Elephants. I don't care if they get spooked or are hard to control or keep. I don't care if they kill a whole heap of my troops.

I just want Elephants, and I won't take no for an answer.

I also want a Thai Mod to go with STW, and I will admit that I'm asking very much of Santa (AKA:Target), but I have been a very good boy this year.
