Im new to shogun, just started playing with the Warlord Edition. I won my three campaigns on normal (uesegi, shimazu, mori) and have since won Oda and Takeda on expert (after an early loss somewhere). This is after only a few hours tinkering with the set battles to learn the ropes. Now, there was a learning curve but the campaigns have been so forgiving that it didnt matter.
My question is, whats the most difficult time period and clan? My guess would be the 1580 campaign with either Oda or the light blue/ninja guys but I want to make sure I play the hardest ones from now on.
Just for difficulties sake it sure would be nice if they added an "unlimited Daiymos" toggle for the AI players. Hes an idiot with sending his last leader into the fray. The only reason I won as Oda was his pathological need to send one lone daiymo after another into a charge against my massed musket line.
