I think spring brings more rain than summer.

I seem to have more luck with Autumn. Unless I really - really need it and then I get fine days or fog.

Weather is a treatrous b*tch.
You always get what you don't want.

You just have to live with it. And when you think about it, even "bad" weather can be a double-edged sword right? There were many times that I successfully sneak-attacked the enemy general in heavy fog.

I only make a rule of the thumb that NEVER attack in winter. unless, of course, you know before hand that the battle is going to be a walkthrough.

When defending, any weather will do. (not like you have a choice anyway) Of course, if it's raining or snowing too hard, your firearms will be useless. But no body will be foolish enough not to take any bowmen, right?

i agree with the never attack in winter advice. the exception to that (im sure there are many depending on peoples' strategies) is that snow tires out cavalry faster, so if you're attacking a horse heavy enemy, then snow would be to your advantage,

There are a bunch of new weather types

Hot and humid with a 20% chance of rain.
Hot and humid with a 15% chance of rain.
Hot and humid with a 10% chance of rain.
Hot and humid
Hot
Humid

and my personal favorite---light hail followed by a dust storm.

I may have this confused with my local weather, but I am not sure.

Cheers

I think the weather varies according to the province - I am not sure although I think north of Jap follows the wet winter warm summers rule - the south is wet in summer - more tropical
