campaign modes

which campaign modes do you prefer to play. I'm pretty sure you guys will vote for the one where you must unify Japan. What about the other types? What are their advantages and disadvantages?

There are 3 "unify Japan" campaigns, along with the 3 historical battle sets too. It depends on what mood I am in to decide what I play. Usually, I am either Hojo taking on the Mongols (I love xbowmen is why - dangit I want them in the Warring States period!), or I play one of the Unify full campaigns. I don't care to play the horde that much, as they are to easy to win with, even at high levels of difficulty.

Which time frame is the most challenging?
