A question about projectile troops!

Hi l was wondering if the weapon apgrade in MI has resaults in the projectile weapons of the units or only the secondary weapons of the unit gets upgraded?

Force I believe the weapon upgrade only applies to hth attack bonus.I don't think it enhances projectile accuracy or killing power.I believe that only an increase in honor will have a positive effect on projectile accuracy and kill ratio.

Correct. Swordsmiths only affect HtH. The best ways to improve your archers are higher honor, and higher elevation. Elevation increases range, accuracy and damage. Line those cliffs, boys!

At the same time, an ashigaru with a weapon bonus is the ultimate cavalry-killer!

Weapon increases HTH power and should be put on shock troops.

Armour really is great with missiles and slow units who get shot down easily and hard.
Also, you may put some nice armor on monks and nods, they get less missiled apart. http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif
