I had no idea that we in the Shogun Community had taken to persecuting people on the basis of their choice of online name.
So it's open season on persecution is it?
Maybe we should start with you critter i dont like that name very much in fact it offens me can i get you ban from Shogun for this? i doubt it i also doubt you will let this post stay in here you will move it and hide it because you dont like people with opinions that dont match yours do you.
My grandfather was killed in WW2 by Germans does this also mean that i can have people with German names ban from Shogun and can we also take away there right to freedom of speech to defend them self's?
I find The Shogun's lack of a reply to OBL to be very unprofessional and critter's words and actions to be an offence to all who have fought and died for freedom.
You dont have to agree with OBL's choice of name but you must agree that his most basic human rights have been violated.

Osama is a normal name like John, and it'll be very bad if people with such a name will get discrimated because of the recent events because that name is given to them by their birth.

Someone who voluntairily choses OsamaBinladen for a online nick tries to upset and hurt people. If EA banned his CD key, I support their action.

But I don't believe they did, if they did (for a very good reason) wouldn't they also delete his nick on EZ board?

I'm very sorry about your grandfather LinkOctavian san, but he was not killed by Germans, but murdered by Nazis.

I won't help right this 'injustice'.

As to the name Usama chose, that is not a problem, and i am touched by the fact that so many flames erupted.
Many murderers and mass murderers name are being used in the stw community and that doesn't make ppl so mad about it.

The current standings see Mao Tze Tung as leader in this ignominuos stat, whereas he killed more than 30 MILLION chinese thanks to his agricultural policy. Second goes Stalin with 27.000.000 russians slaughtered for political reasons. And third goes Hitler with "only" 6.000.000 jews.
We also have Mongol leaders, roman slaughterers, the russian mad monk Rasputin, Pol Pot, Pinochet, catholic Innocenzo the third, native americans extermination and so on...

What does this mean ?
That Usama has not killed as many but his name eventually brings anger bc its wound is still open.

The fact that someone can use his name, is not so terrible guys, its only a name. And presumably used to enrage those who answered.

Before calling Usama a monster though, (the real Usama i mean) check history books. IRA was and IS terrorists but now they have political representatives. Same goes for ETA and for Arafat who was and IS by all accounts a terrorist but now spokesman of palestinians.
Sometimes there's no other choice but to fight with the weapons we have. Recent history proves that terrorism becomes politics.

Im not justifying usama's deed. He did a wrong thing, but in HIS pov there eventually was no other choice, or no other way to do it.
War is not only fought with weapons but primarily in international markets. 6000 victims at the twin towers are very small compared to how many die at the hands of pollution, or at the hands of third world country debt interests.

The fact, for instance, that iraq has Saddam Hussein as leader has brought an embargo that kills hundreds of KIDS a day. If this is not a war act i dont know how to call it.
Saddam may be a monster, a terrorist, a madman, whatever u can call it, this STILL doesn't give america the right to kill iraqi children with an embargo which IS a weapon (i remind ya'll that kids are innocent victims).
Another small detail on Saddam is that during the iraqi/iran war, America was allied to Iraq.
So where's the deal ? America sells weapons to the whole world (even to usama who has been on U.S. payroll for years and in fact afghans will fight this upcoming war with american weapons) and then bombs those who dont use it on the enemies america would choose (allied to iraq then enemy when iraq chose to attack q8 instead of iran).
These are facts guys, if u wanna discuss them, pls get the books. I'm talking by the books here.

Usama is a MASS murderer. He's not the only one. Before judging him a monster, ask americans not to SELL weapons to Israel which is at WAR with palestine.
The strike on twin towers IS a war act on a country allied to the enemy of palestinians.

And this war act is AS wrong as ANY war act from whatever country it is committed.

The reason moved threads are closed upon their appearance in the other forum is that having two open threads that are exactly similar confuses the heck out of everyone. Furthermore, I don't see the need to have two threads to discuss this particular subject anyway.
