Verbal harvest report?

Is there no Verbal harvest report anymore in MI/WE.I see the report'but get no speech anymore.

Nope, verbal harvest reports were taken out. There was a very good reason for this, but I can't remember exactly what it was at this precise moment. I'm sure it'll come back to me, though.

Game crashes on event movie pretty often as well, I sugget taking them out too.

wow. i hadn't even noticed the voice was removed from the harvest reports. shows how long some of us have been with the game...

with regards to taking the movies out as well, i discovered that the game still runs even without the CD's in minimum installation. you just have to press "cancel" if the game promps you to change CD's. this is a good idea for people who don't care about watching the movies (makes the game faster), and avoiding the crash bug.
