Predefined groups-how?

I am having trouble creating predefined groups, select then ctl+shift+#
It never works. Am I doing something wrong or is this a command that's in the manual but not in the game?

No it definitely works. Make sure to old ctrl as you select every unit you want in the group then hold ctrl+shift and then press the # u want that group to be. When you want to use them again hold ctrl as you press the # of the unit you want. # meaning 1-0 (10)hope this helps http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif
