Since there are going to be a lot of reviews of the expansion pack / Warlord Edition on the net, it's best to have one thread to post all of them. It is a good newbie reference. I will add stuff from this thread on the mainpage in chunks to avoid clutter. Note that this is a place to post links to game pages' reviews, not your own reviews.

Those found thus far:

PC.IGN.com (http://pc.ign.com/reviews/16609.html)

Gamespot.com (http://gamespot.com/gamespot/stories/reviews/0,10867,2807734,00.html)

And one I just found:

MGON.com (http://www.mgon.com/reviews.phtml?id=95793)

It seems the game's mostly getting 8 or 8.5 out of 10... Not bad (for an expansion). But the text is what matters of course.

Edit: UBB code.

Another edit: typo.

Those reviews are probably written by 'newbies' of the game since most of the main bad points have not been mentioned anywhere.

But I feel that's it's a great xpack after all.

It's all right, we've all bought (or are going to buy... right? http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/wink.gif) the X-pack anyway, and are able to form our personal opinions on it. This is more for the newbies among us, or people looking for a new, more general perspective.

On that latter point, it kind of puts our own grievances in perspective as well - most of the reviewers are too busy playing the game to notice the morale rules change, as simply the fact that the game has a morale option seems like an act of God for most RTS reviewers.

Think about it.

No points score here, but he seems to like it very very much.

This thread had dropped suspiciously low.

Gamespot UK (http://www.gamespot.co.uk/stories/reviews/0,2160,2095111-3,00.html):

9.5. I am convinced.

GameZone (http://www.gamezone.com/gzreviews/r17236.htm) - 9.5.

I shoulds think that concludes our little list.
