Well, let me be the first to say that.. well.. that was really kinda stupid..

But anyway, the way to handle this is to talk to EA.. though if you threw the case out, there is very little chance they'll help you at all..

And NO ONE in their right mind is going to "help you out" by sending you their CD key, cuz that means that they at the very least will be unable to play while you are playing, and at the most *could* get busted and not be able to play at all..

and if EA do help you with a new cd-key,

use a cd-marker pen to write it ON the cd.

No CD keys! That doesn't look like a real one http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/tongue.gif but if it is I'll be mad and you better delete it.

.Org's policy is the following:
Quote NO posts containing information on and/or requests for the Shogun: Total War CD key codes; if someone has actually lost his CD key, he should ask about the matter from Electronic Arts Customer Support. Anyone asking for someone else's here is assumed to be a pirate trying to deny the game's developers their rightful compensation for this work.[/QUOTE]

i doubt it's real.
but you can always buy one on ebay! there's one for sale by a certain Olypsist-Say (I think it's Latin) and the bidding starts at U.S. $500. No refunds, as-is.

bummer about your situation, Godsmack. But I suppose you should just bite the proverbial bullet and chalk this up to bad judgement. Maybe next time you won't be so careless with $50 computer games.

The bid has just gone up by two to 700! hahahaha
