Yorkists vs. Lancastrians

Yorkists all the way man. I always love commenting on the wars of the roses. Anyone have an oppinion?

Richard the third was innocent, I believe duke of bukingham did it to try to get in the good books with richard but it just pissed him of soo bucking ham led a revolt against him,
and also richarddid not have hunch just a overly developed sword arm, cause he wasn't weak a$$ p*ssy like henry the 7, Bloody tudor scum. Although I myself don't see much point to a grudge, I do say the occasional "Damn Yorkies", and I know there are still many people who hold that grudge here (South Yorkshire vs. North East Lincolnshire.)

The War of the Roses is a time period I am unfamiliar with (although I am familiar with the Battle of Bosworth).

The original conflict really had very little to do with county/shire boundaries in a Lancashire and Yorkshire context, but it has crystallised into such over the ensuing centuries. It was basically a family, dynastic squabble. The Yorkies became very upset I think that something that carried their Yorkshire epithet was ultimately a failure. Being Welsh myself I s'pose at the very least that by that time we'd developed a talent for backing the right horse Hence we fought on Edward's side in the 1470's, then backed up Henry Tudor in 1485 (albeit thanks to some heavy duty propaganda by the future king). http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
