Editing Events

Is there a way to edit events ? or is it hard coded ?

You can only change the descriptions but not what bonuses they give etc.

I'm curious is to how you call event pictures. For example, I want to change some of the pics that some of the events use.

The pictures are stored in the file epic.bif, although I'm not sure how the order is decided.
