army size

Is there a way to produce armies of sixty units?
I always started with units of 60 men and then
when you start to build they exist out of 120 men...

yes.
go to the Options section of the first menu when you run the game.
under Game there will be a further option for army size. Put it at 60.

i'm sold on 60 the whole way. can't stand anything larger.

I like 60 as they're easier to turn etc. for quick moving but I'm playing a campaign with 100 at the mo. and enjoying it. I will probably play with 80 in the future.

More than 60 unit size lags quit a lot in MP.
