As vets know in STW we registered clans at EA were others could look up how many members were in a clan and overall clan stats as well as individual stats from players in a clan. I like the official attention that was given to clans in STW and hope this returns in RTW.

Possibly, but imagine the howls of protest when some idiot registers existing clan names out of spite. Bye Bye wolves, bye bye Kenchi. Not good
I am a bit confused now. Actually in the stats thread I get the impression people want their stats, but not a ranking system.
Individual players and clans should be registered.
There should be a detailed stats system which shows you all the relevant info about the player/clan.

With Shogun there was a lot of faults......
I like the current system, but I think it should be expanded a little to record a players battle stats,
ie Competative games
Friendly games.
etc
This could be done by a series of rooms, so depending on which room you are in will depend if your battle results get added to your stats.....
The problem with forcing people to register as clans, is you get all those one person clans, which IMHO is a waste of time.
i saw no... just for the reasons mentioned above.
Honestly, the create clans idea is good for shogun, because it was first, now we have established clans, and fools out there who wreck things for everyone, then i can see it being abused unless CA authorise the already established clans first

I think there should be something like for my clan (SaS for MOH:Spearhead and Ravenshield) has to go to a site called and register our clan. I think it's a good idea.teamwarfare (http://teamwarfare.com)
i do really hope they bring back some kind of info statistics .. although we cannot blame CA because all we did was bitch about the Ranking system in MI .. im pretty sure they have the capability to do this even with MTW, just not the man hours .. maybe VI will bring something in this area http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smokin.gif

There's no need to register Clans.
And it is meaningless unless there is good control on usernames, anyhow.

Just add the competive and friendly feature in the options and that suits fine for me. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

IT DOESN"T WORK
I couldn't EVER play shogun onlin cause all clan passwords had been taken when I tried Even Randome pushing of BUTTONSSSSSS
I PAID GOOD MONEY BUT KNOW THEY PUT IN SOME STUPID SYSTEM THAT DOESN"T WORK SO YOU CAN"T PLAY ONLINE
in shogun online you could choose your own name for a clan, not just the clans that were featured in the game

OK OK guys. And whow about CA allows the Clans that already exist in MTW? Instead of the family names and the comp and friendly games that somehow led to some "cheating" they put the clans that are in the Org and let the control for the Leaders of those Clans? http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
it is hard to explain Raven, but registering the Clans would not be a problem, CA could easily come here and let us register the established clans first to avoid their names being taken .. the problem is with the ladder system and that fact that the top 100 was not worth too much in value, it was easy to manipulate your Honour to different levels .. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/frown.gif
nah i see no need for this stuff
clans don't need this

Hi all..
Oh well sounds like a flop http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/frown.gif but im sure if these contests ie CWB,CWC and Kocmocs 1v1s were to evolve and continue on into RTW this will still give a competitive edge to the game http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
