I have been recently purchasing Janissary infantry at 1,800+ florins per unit. Is this right?...............it seems a little expensive to me when I read that they can be bought for 900+ florins. Does a having top amour make a difference?

Luckily I have tons of dosh but that's not the point!

That seems a bit high.

Are you on standard units? Heavy Janissaries are 60-man units in standard, for 925 florins per squad.

It be alot of florins. But I must say, It is awsome! I think is the best.Period. For SP anyway. And Jann Archers it is good too.

Sounds like you're using huge units.

Cost of a unit scales up with their size.

Oh It is weird. The Jann infantry the to income to keep the florins it is 36 florins. http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/confused.gif Oh well..
