Well,

Shogun was the first,

Medieval the second,

Rome will be the third

All with expansions I think.

So, the more time they have to practice the better a game they can make, no?

Of course many enjoys medieval over shogun, new abilities and features. But some people (like my self) just loved the setting of shoguns... you could command 1000's of samurai to battle.. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

That I miss very much in mtw. However, I think the campaign is better in MTW is better than in shogung, never played it much myself tho, only to the point where I cud see nothing for spies, priests etc.

Logically rtw will be the best, new 3D and all + zoom able map, wee http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

I voted for rtw and I join sinans chanting and praying http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Hello there orre. It's good to see a STW die hard. Are you asking your poll for a reason? Just curious.

I love MTW, and with Viking coming VERY SOON, what more could I ask for.

There is so much about english history to enjoy and learn more about.

Just a pity we dont do much on battle reinactments

I love the medieval period, and Medieval is, I think, better physichally than Shogun, so it got my Vote. How can you include Rome though? It's sort of...not out yet. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/dizzy.gif

Shogun set the standards in this game genre. Medieval was a vastly improved game and got my vote but i hope and pray that Rome lives upto what we all expect it to be.

I still think that evern if Rome is superior in some ways it won't be as fun as the Medieval period.

Still it remains to be seen.

The best Total War game is the campaign that I'm playing now -- now being relative, that is. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

I voted for STW. I like the simplicity of Shogun.

MTW is very, very good. However, it is just a bit too much of management in the trategy part. The amount of management doesn't yield good reward.

I have very high hope for RTW.

i always thought shogun was cool, with the animation whenever there's a ninja assasination or other scenarios. But after a while it got pretty repetative. That change in MTW was much welcomed. Its easier to make money with MTW with trade routes and such. But its rather easy to retrain units in Shogun.
