Just a quick work on the excel.. no worry.. but the funny thing is, NC, the stats file you provided doesnt seem to show the new cost of some of the unit like chi.knights, bzy.inf, handgunners, as Yuuki had mentioned in another thread.. I wonder why?

The thing that made me notice them was the fact that they had a throwing spear more powerful than a Javelin and that there were 100 of them. They only have one shot, but if used properly it can rout low-valor units instantly. Without their ammo they are basically slow Fanatics.

I really enjoy playing the Irish, but only in 1v1 because they dont have any archers. I almost always use 4 bonnachts. They are basically celtic warriors, and I would defiantly not pass up 100 man units with excellent attack If they are in a position that they can throw their spears I use it, otherwise I just use tham as regular infantry and then if they have finished fighting and other units are still fighting they spears can easily rout low morale enemy troops.

I turn them onto engage at will or hold formation at the start of battle, never skirmish.
