Movies comfirmed!!!!

In the recent chat with ike De Plater(SP?) about VI, somebody asked if there will be movies. Sadly he responded no, because with al the factions,there would b 20x as many movies as Shogun, but then he said, "But, we are putting some very cool movies into Rome" It seems they do listen to us http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif Nothing said about the throne room though... http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/frown.gif

Well, it will be much easier to do movies in RTW IMO. The in-game graphics are at a point where all that is needed to make a nice video is to add some facial animations and conversational body language. I think that the RTW battle engine will be used for almost everything. The throne room, if there is one, might look out upon your soldiers drilling in military camp, or look out upon the main boulevard in your capitol city moving about in real-time. The RTW engine seems to be at a point where it can be used for more than just battles.
