this little b**** is causing me a lot of headaches; she was created in Echigo the season before I attacked and won the province. the campaign isn't over yet, so we'll see how far things go before i can destroy her.
just a quick note to show that the game isn't over when you've got the largest chunk of Japan and have little to fear from the other clans.

I find a good way to remove a pesky Geisha or even Dyaimo is to make huge numbers of Ninja. If you send in 6 or 7, even at level 1, and tell them to attack all at the same time, chances are one will work, even if there's only 7% chance of success.

I have seen ronin geisha - normally when an AI clan creates a geisha and then is reduced to ronin - thru death of the diamyo without heir in some form or fashion - be it warfare or sickness or natural causes.

At least you should know where they come from. I have not ever seen a ronin province TRAIN a geisha.

I've never seen them ever train stratmap units of any kind. Much less a geisha! Perhaps she was in training just before the province went Ronin, so when she was done, the Ronin owned her.

Usually when a clan is exterminated, their agents disappear. not so in this case. yes, she was created/finished by Uesugi the season I captured the province, and I expected her to vanish, like all of Uesugi's ninja and shinobi. I [b]have seen[/i] Ronin make agents, however, almost always in the form of ninja; never seen a Ronin emisarry. (I sometimes play with the .matteosartori. on)

You have never seen the AI build strategic units? Never gotten repeated messages that you have caught and killed an enemy ninja working for Lord whatever? Never killed enemy emissaries and seen more and more spread no matter what? These are strategic units - and the AI uses them often.
Keep an eye out and you will see the signs. Geisha just take alot longer to appear.

geisha are fun, I detatch my daimyo from his army and just run him around Japan to attempt to escape the clinging b**ch - I mean I told her we were finished...

I'm pretty sure that Geisha were only entertainers....

A common misconception is that the Geisha were/are prostitutes. As far as I know this is not the case.

I have not ever seen that either. Thats why I said the clan AI is making them - then getting defeated and going ronin - leaving a ronin geisha.
