How many hours do you play Total War

I didn't play MTW for a few months, since it crashed my computer every time. Now that I finally got it running last week, I spent about 20 hours playing MTW VI in 3 days; about 7 hours per day

I think I have to slow down a bit, but are there other hardcore-fans like me? How much do you play any of the Total War -series games per day?

I used to play a lot more, now it's back to about 2 hours per day. Some days more than 2 hours. You should have made the options in hours per week, would have made it easier to answer.

The amount of time I play MTW or VI varies quite a bit. I haven't been able to play for over a week because of multiple projects I've set up for myself. When I get to play, I may play 2-3 hours a day (maybe 6+ hours a day on weekends -- my poor wife) and then stop and do something else. But if I was to take a month's worth and average it out, it would probably end up being 1-2 hours per day.

During the week I have to go to school and do homework, work etc. But on the weekends when I have free time, I probably play about 5 hours Sat and Sun, which my parents hate cause they want to get on the computer too.

Two real life entities knwon as My Job and My Wife interfere with my playing time. If I was still a student I'd be able to play far more, but as it stands, only about 1-2 hours an evening.

man you guys are lucky I am quite fortunate to fit in about 3 hours over the weekend and Friday total. I sure hope you don't play that much. I had my brother over for a visit during Easter and he hadn’t seen the game before. I told him to just try it out… I watched him play for a while, giving small advice as he progressed. I could feel it in my fingers that I wanted to participate. But as I said I have to wait… damn exams.

This game as it all. Plus is a quite fun and easy to make your own mod. I've made my personal modification and now i enjoy it quite a lot more. Usaly i play or mod 2-3hour a day on the week and on week-end i play it a LOT 12-24h. usually 1-2 hours. but I usually plan the big battles - I mean vs > 10 thousands - for the weekend. in which case, the battle itself would take more then an hour.

usually 9:00pm to midnight. the kids are in bed, the wife goes off to bed around 10. The only draw back to playing so late is keeping the cursing down to low rumbles as my entire army routs.

There isn't much playing for me either. Most of the time I'm making graphics and units for the Lord the Rings MOD. Although I occasionaly start up a game to see Cave Trolls smashing through some units. After I'm done with creating the units, then I'll play alot again.

well as a totaly new player with Shogun Vanilla I get about an hour and a half once back from work but partner then needs me to spend some time with her. Weekend are a little different although I think the getting up at 4am to play till 11 am the first saturday was a bit much. Sometimes I'm lucky if I can find one solid hour per week to play. I have 5 minutes here and there every day to check forums and such, but a complete hour is hard to come by.
