This is very similar to the campaign I hosted for the UGLYs NC. The problem is the time it takes to update the statistics and post them on the site. Also, there are many rules which will need to be discussed later, that will not be apparent now. If you need any help, let me know, I will be more than happy to iron out any problems. The campaign was fun for the UGLYs but my time was not enough to keep up with all the info. and it bogged down.
I do believe that everyone had fun while it was ongoing though. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif Player's who played in it were: Yuuki, TosaInu, Ryuken, Strike, Krast, Ithaskar, Dump and Ham. I am sure any of these guys could be good to discuss any problems that may come up as well as myself. It was based on the old STW game. The website no longer exists, but I can help you decide how to best display the info. for each province and faction if you like. I see you are using the hotspot technique as links to each province and also passwording them like in my campaign. Good job. Looks nice.

everything is ready.. withen 24 hrs of a sign up players will have access to their maps... we are 100% ready to go.

the map on display is only for show.. the actual maps are serperate for each faction and only show information that is known to that faction.

when the space is filled we start.

NC if people are having probs getting the site to load, you may want to remove the sound track. From past experience, I have seen this cause problems with loading; especially for those with 56k connects. I wish I had half the talent you have developed over the past year using photoshop and flash. Nice work. BTW I noticed that Fyrdmen are available once you have a tavern in place . . . . I never knew Fucy was a Fyrdman That explains a lot of the in game beer runs. hehe

the soundtract is loaded last... it is its own movie file music (http://www.fearfulways.com/mpc/music.swf) that loads into the background of the bottom left box once everything else is loaded.. its around 650 kb.. loading movies into levels lets you pick and choose what gets downloaded first http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

at least one member of your clan must have an account at the message board in order to join, as well as a flash enabled browser at least ie5 or higher to view the maps, rules, and techtree.

so far ive had over 7 confermations of clans willing to join .. but none have officialy signed up in our forum.. Kenchi has come the closest with an almost official post.. in other words there is less space than clans willing..

I've already expressed my interest 3 times, without any response. I cannot see the forum either, at the moment. I am running an IE6, flash enabled.

NC. Thx for your reply. I don't think it's your fault, and I don't think it's anything major.

No, I can't see that pic now, but this week-end till yesterday I could. I think it's something temporary. In any case next week, my new PC should be delivered. Worse comes to worse, in the meantime I'll just re-install IE.

I'm about 5 hours away from being at the work PC, so I'll register from there, hope there is a spot left till then.

It would be nice to hold spots for those who are experiencing these transient issues.

Sorry for the tone of it ;) I was trying too hard to find the forum :) Just hope that there is a space left for me.

Perhaps many of you already know: I play MTW with the sound off. I took out the soundcard the first day it gave me problem. No stinking sound... And I am able to install both MTW and MTW/VI on my tiny harddisk by removing all the *.wav files plus the campaign files of MTW. Saved around 1.6Gig doing so. Still keep MTW/VI campaign files just in case somebody accused me of being multiplayer junky....

currently the viking faction has 6 members. 2 spots for marko and gawain are reserved in case rtk doesnt join. (they posted this request in writing at forum) this leaves 2 spots currently open

4 clans have officialy registered leaving 3 to go.. however there is one clan who has a pending application, RFL.
