Can I MP MTW without gamespy?

i was goign to host one on my broadband connection just for fun

how do i do this? can MTW do it?
who has IM or ICQ round here and wants to do it?

You can't host over the internet without connecting to GameSpy so the game can be announced on its matchmaking system.

You don't need to connect to GameSpy when hosting & playing across a LAN.

No direct IP connection, sorry.
