Hi,
When playing the new VI campaign, it's possible to move the LOS of the camera to almost any angle possible, which is very user friendly indeed http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif One can go so high it's even possible to get a bird's eye view on battles. This is really handy when there are a lot of trees on the map and unit viewing can become difficult.
However, in the MTW campaign the camera controls are far more restrictive. One can only raise the view a little from the ground and one cannot lower the view to get even close to a bird's eye view. It's such a pity there is this apparent difference between the campaigns and there's no obvious reason why there should be? http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/frown.gif
Is there anyway to play the MTW campaign using the more user friendly camera angles of the VI campaign? If so, how can it be done? Unchecking "restricted camera" in the options menu doesn't make any difference. If it's not possible, why not?
