when there is a war, it have 3 period:
a) Previus phase: where you do preparatives in your country and armies. Then you send your army to attack the province.
b) strategy phase: it is the perios where yours armies is moved across the province, where you choose objetives like ways, bridges, towns, Cities, strategies points..etc..then when one of your armies crash with enemy army in thats objetives is when it is produced the battle.
c) the battle phase: it is the battle.

we are here the 3 point of a war: logistic, strategy and tactic.
i think when you move your army to a province and then you fight one battle only to win that province it is not real. We are losing a period very important and very fun.

cannot wait for R:TW for this kind of thing Apparently the only distinction between strategy and battle map is scale, so you can zoom into the strat map and plan exactly where to fight. Plus there are no provinces as such, you just fight over control of important locations e.g. cities.

strategy is the art of put your army in the battlefield, the tactic is the battle.
The strategy is the why the battle, it is the reason.
we, in MTW, are playin a tactic game. When we play a single player we are playing a empire building game and logistic game.
