Most People will agree with me if I say the last Century brought more fundamental Changes then any other Era ever. So why not make an 20th Century:Total War?

The Map is the whole World and the Game goes from 1900 to 2010 (few years to show our time as well).

New feature: Unit Development.

Similar to Imperium Galactica the new Units Creator works... You develop Weapons and Vehicle-Chassis. For each Nation you have special Weapons and Chassis avarible (but you can steal these Tech with Spys, or capture them after you won a War), so the "edited" Units are just variations of existing ones. The Prime Option you have is to change Arnament, Armor and training of ALL Units (Infantry, Tanks, Airforce and Navy).

Examples you can do with Editor and Espionage ->

Germans steal the T-34 and build it in 1941...
After WW2 the USA capture the Panter-Tech and build one ones with 105mm Guns...
The Japanese are given the Plans for the ME-256...

And so on...

Politics ->

Replaces "Religion" how it was in MTW. You can, like in CIV3, launch a Rebellion to establish the Stateform you want:

Democrathy, Presidental Republic, Communist Regime, Despotism, Nationalistic Regime (Nazis), Constitutional Monarchy or Absolutism (very strict Monarchy)...

These Ideologies give your State diffrent values and Tech Options. You can not join the Warsaw Pact if you arn't Communist for example...

Militaristic and Peacheful ways of Victory ->

To win, you must be the highlyest regarded Nation of all Factions. To reach that you can:

- Spend Money on the UN
- Run your own Spaceprogramme
- Be the State with lowest taxes but best Supply for Citizens
- Become dominant in Trade
- Become the best Scientist
- Or simply run over all other Factions (play Hitler http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/mecry.gif )

Battles ->

GIANT. WW1 and WW2 Battles are giantific in Mass, and fictive USA/UssR Clashes are also LARGE. The only thing is: Maps will have to be very large so Battles can take place Minimum in Regimental Size... Preffered Options were Corps or Brigade Size (just so 50.000 Men in Battle... just a few http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif )

Play yourself ->

There should be an Option to use an own Bmp or better TGA Fuile with our owns Picture as some kind of Avatar in Gaming. So you can conifgurate your own Character to display yourself digital.

Science:

Economic Science produces Cash and is displayed through Univeritys and Labs you can build on the Map. Militery Development is Displayed through new Units called "Scientist" and "Engineer". You send them on a Mission (targeting on a Troop of your Army), then you are asked which Unit of this Army should be redesigned. If the Mission fails they try again until it works, if it works you are shifted to the Editor and can make your changes (all Units are them automatically modernised to their new odds).

The Weapons are avarible with the Date. Example: 1940 the germans get the "PAK 40", from now on you can build this AT Gun. If you want it to be mounted on a Tank, you must create the Engineer Mission...

(Note from last threat: Rheinmetall is acctually the best Gun Producer in the world. They made the german 88mm Gun, the 128mm for the Jagdtiger, the 120mm Gun for Abrams/Leopard 2 and they are currently working out the new 140mm Gun for Project Kws III... Leopard 3 is coming&#33http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

I voted for the first option (no offence), as I think it would indeed be a superficial approach and that many other opportunities lay ahead of CA, like China or Rennaissance TW.

Sorry - don't see the TW engine as a goer for this - certainly the tactical combat engine is completely useless for 20th cent warfare.

So instead of priests and inquisitors can we have tv reporters and papparazzi?
