While Playing on Easy in STW warloard Edition I am the last clain surviving but I have no Heir. How do you make more Heirs? I would have beat the game last time It was just me and rebels. Buy my Diymano dies and I have no Heir and the game is over.

ES, you have no control over heirs. When you have heirs, you must take care of them and be sure you don't lose them in battle.

Word of caution: there was a disappering heir bug in the game, but I thought it was fixed by the time Warlords came out. Basically what happened was if you stacked a heir unit in the same army with your Daimyo, your heir would magically disappear - never to return. You may want to try this with a save game to see if the heir stays or goes.

Next time take better care of your heirs... Keeping them safe won't turn them into fancy boys in shining armor like it happens in MTW.

My problem is that I took to long I think None of my Heir's are killed in battle they guist get to old and die. Then it seams none of them has any Heirs and my clan dies out.
Or mabey I an not paying attention and my Heirs are geting killed in battle.
I will take better care next game.

Thanks for the info.

Luckily enough I have never ran out of heirs in Shogun, mainly because I have to hide them away in a castle, because they always end up coming outas fricking Ashigaru http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/mad.gif

I am so glad they are put in a proper unit in Medieval. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Does anyone here work out when an heir is coming, so they can get them into a good unit?

Didn't they have a screen in Shogun (like in medieval) that shows an heir's age even if he has not matured yet. That way if you know when he will mature you can set a few good units to be trained that year in the hope he will be good in battle. (remembers those stints of training Heavy Cav a lot to get the heir as one of them)

But yeah Medieval is much better automatically generating a Good unit of bodyguards for the individual in question.
