Most balanced era in 2.0

Well, is there a most balanced era in this game, and what is it? Feel free to give your opinions. Also, please tell me what you feel is the most imbalanced era out there, and what rules a host needs to enforce in order to establish a reasonable balance. Having played VI not so long and currently not often, I have no idea... However I am getting the idea that each era plays quite differently so that your question cant be answered

Yes there is no balance. Personally I don't mind. When I did/do play I tried to take reasonable armies, all armies were basically for fun. I enjoyed it.
