I am thinking about buying MTW again, my CD broke awhile ago. But I also want to buy VI. Do I have to buy each of them seperate or can I buy both of them in a Warlord Edition type package? I haven't been able to get to the local best buy lately so does anyone know the prices or MTW and VI, or the price of the package (if there is one)?

Thanks http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

I dont know if they are available together yet. But I paid $39.99 U.S. when MTW came out and the Expansion pack VI was $28.99 U.S. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

No combined pack out yet, there will be without a doubt though...

The developer guy GilJaySmith said a week ago or so, that no Warlord Edition-type release was planned, but that the decision was Activision's (the publisher).

Out here on the left coast, CompUSA offers a mark-down on MTW (to $20) if you buy VI at the same time (total price for the 2 boxes: $70).

odd, seeing how MTW is nowhere to be bought anymore here..

I heared nothing about a WE type patch, but I don't think that it's going to be realised. People are talking only about Rome these days http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

Unless I'm remembering very badly, or my answer ended up looking like it was to another question, I don't remember explicitly saying anything about an equivalent of the Warlord Edition. However, it is true that it's Activision's decision whether they want one.

Totally right; I got it wrong, misreading a post of your's from April. Apologies to all.
