How to kill...

I am playing the Interegnum Mod, and I am the Byzantines, and I cant seem to get rid of the Mongols, because they always seem to have Mounted Archers of some type. And I am able to take out everyone, but the archers because they are Melee, and they run away from my troops at all times, the timer is turned off in my battles, so it goes on forever, and if I turn time on, then I will lose. Any help would be great

Use light cavalry to chase them around the map, keeping them busy while you deal with the main army. Once done, lure the horse archers into an ambush by flanking them from behind by light cavalry and from the front with your original light cavalry. They wont be able to run very well from a pincer

If you can't catch them, use missile units to kill them.
