At about 1130 the HRE gets the GA to restore the HRE by conquering Milan, Tuscany, Rome and Naples. Points are given at 1150 for the first time and it ends at 1250.
One would expect that the GA would stay until 1250, no matter what happens. But at 1150 I only had Milan and the next turn the GA was gone. Is this supposed to happen?
I have had similar experiances with other GA´s of other factions. That was all before VI so I´m not sure if things have changed.
The general question is: Do you get points only once for GA´s like this or are the GA´s not working properly.

It should show up again in the 1220's or 1230's.

It shows up at first, so you know what your goal is, then it should show up again after the last GA point update prior to the ending date of the time frame you were given to achieve the goal. So, around 1250, it should show up again and you will get the points. The Italian conquest points, like for many other special GAs are only given once, at the end of the time frame. Always read the description texts carefully.

Thanks for the replies.
I guess I just have to wait a few turns. If I remeber correct the GA will give points in 1200 as well so it should pop up in 1180 again. It's 1173 in my current game but time goes slowly with all the major battles I have fight lately. The pope made a come-back with about 7.000 men.
I think it's a bit confusing that a GA disappears for several years. Probably something to do with programming of the point system.
