Lesser Victory Pics

I have MTW version 1.0 and when playing a campaign if I claim lesser victory the picture is a mix of flames and other stuff. I don't know why. i've found a group of images in... wll i don't know where but i suppose they are the pictures that the game sould show when you win. (PLZ forgive any problem with my english, i'm form Argentina).

To your problem: the 60% solution is intended to display a lesser version of victory. But do not be dismayed, the 100% solution is not a huge display of greater proportion (although we have asked for AVI movies, and so on). It is merely a display of a scene of your faction's ruler (nicely rendered, I add), surrounded by his various assistants, with a soundtrack of a narrator, heaping praise on you. Pressing ESC then gets you the credits, layered upon some original artwork. Very nice the first or second time you have achieved 100% domination...but not (some say) commensurate with the effort you've spent in the campaign.

Also, the pictures you have looked at might be the ones for the Glorious Achievements (GA) mode of play. Those pics are shown everytime you fulfill an important glory goal, like defy the Teutons or anything. I don't remember whether or not they worked in the 1.0 version, but in any case, you should install the 1.1 patch, it fixes some things, especially the unit availability for each era, which didn't work as intended in the 1.0 release version.

Thanks 4 answering, but, yes, i saw the pictures (i don't remeber if they were tga or BIF) of your ruler sit on his chair with his subjects and flags (are the same for the different factions http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/mecry.gif ) but the game doesn't show them. Instead, it puts a image with flames and and other weird things. maybe it's a bug that is patched by the patch. I didn't patch the game, Should I? What does it do?

Well it makes you have naval battles now. It gives the units available to the time period as it should as Brutal DLX said. It fixes alot of the bugs and makes it run smother (well it did for me but might not for you)

First you must have a place to upload your picture(s) to the internet. Many ISP offer some web space for webpages or pictures. Once the picture is uploaded and you have its URL, then just use the Image button above the text box of your reply. It will prompt for the URL of the picture, enter it and click on okay, then click add reply and tah-dah You've posted your picture.
