where are my battlefield ninjas?

OK - I am sure a lot of this must have been discussed in the past, but I only just got hold of MI, so forgive me if this is repetition

- but -

I've built a citadel, infamous ninja house and sword dojo in the Mongol Invasion campaign, but I don't have the option to build a BN dojo. Why!
and why can't I retrain ashigaru spearmen? If they weren't historically available, then why put them in the campaign in the first place?

You need legendary sword dojo... and BN not available in Mongol era... http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/biggrin.gif

I think you can build a battlefield ninja dojo with only a BASIC sword dojo (large castle, sword saint event) AND a famous ninja house (Fortress, ninja house). I built one this way.
