Ok the first is dualing and jousting Why not? We can see into the city supposidly and this was a part of it. This could be a great way to keep the citizens occupied

Another thing is less Vices or a way to prevent them. When not battiling we could send our generals on missions, like guarding a person for a week, or sending them on a march. This would keep them fit and hopefully avoided the many Vices we get in VI, pft you cant get a general without vices, which is a little far fetched.

Yeah cos hardly anybody in the olden days had any kind of personality.
Most of the generals should be blank nondescript people.

I thought one of the previews had said that there would be Gladiator battles & chariot races etc?

Well, yes, think it said you could see these taking place... maybe it just randomly happens. Like the soccer stadiums in Sim City.

I guess you didnt understand what I said. I said less Vices, not none at all. Im VI every general has 1 or more vices but in reality I am sure there were many generals who didnt have any vices, or at least not as big as the ones in VI

I can understand what minikiller means, and its not that I dont agree with him. What he meant was I think vices and virtues are gained too quickly. For example if a general runs off the battlefield for once, he most of the time gains the coward vice. Give the guy a break, duh maybe he had no choice? Or the thing is that you can get the lazy vice easily if you stand still for a period of time. I dont think thats his fault, its the thing that the king wants him to stay there. I hope I can make the problem clear?

MiniKiller's right that some vices are gained to quike like the annoying good runner vice.
vices should be able to be eraised.
If you let a good runner general fight a few battles where he enters combat himself he should get rid of the good runner vice.

Im not quite with you on that point mate, I dont think V&Vs should be erased. Anything on a man's life gives him an experience to remember about, thus cannot be changed. I only want them to be gained only if the thing is repeated 5-6 times.

Thats what I meant, they are gained to quickly. hmm as for vices being erased...maybe not toally but updated.

Say a 0 star general runs in battle, he is granted cowards -1 honour, -1 valure

Now he is a 3 star general and hasnt run since, he is granted *insert name here* +1 honour, +1 valure. In the write up about his new trait the end can say something like "he has been known to run in battles, not not to often as he has made up for his cowerdice ways.

If a 5 star general runs in battle he shouldnt get coward. He should get like wavering or something, -1 honour but no valure loss and in the write up it could say something like "he has run from battle recently and is bravery may be wavering.
