Just go on reply in any topic, set an image like you normally would. Then copy it, got to your sig and paste it.

Do I add the picture in my sig directly or the url for the picture? thanks

add the url in your sig box, with '[ img]' at the beginning, and '[ /img]' (minus the quotes and spaces)at the end of the url. Be careful that the image is not too big, K?

Yeah, bummer. Mail me the pic jim@jimcee.com mentioning medieval in the subject line (so I don't delete it as spam), then I'll host it & it'll work.

to add a custom avatar in your avatar slot, it is now possible. go into control panel (near the top of the forum on the left), pick account options and change your skin to 'custom avatar' and save it. then go into account details or whatever that's named where you edit avatars and details, and pick the 'edit profile' link. go to the bottom of that page and find where the avatar url is and add in the url for where your custom avatar is stored. save it. this will add in your custom avatar in your avatar slot, like mine.
you must have the custom avatar file stored on a server that allows for remote linking, otherwise you'll just get the red x in your avatar slot for the custom avatar skin.
also note, that others using other skins will still see your avatar as the one you were using before, not the custom one. and, you will ONLY see other folk's avatars that are using the custom avatar skin and have successfully added in a custom avatar.

I think this option should only be made available after you've posted 1000 times. It will give people a new reason to spam to achieve this new landmark

Hehehe.
The_Emperor,
The image height is set to max 100. You may want to check your control panel to see what's done.

I haven't been bothered to edit it yet. That was only an example, pic.
Anyway it is a shame that other users cannot see custom Avatars... Not that I'm complaining or anything http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
EDIT: Raaa Now I have my Evil Looking Monarch... Even if he can only be seen by other Avatar Modders.
They can The_Emperor, if they wish to.
