Last night, i started a campaign in late period, by glorious achievements, and since i didn´t test the french i decided i was playing with these ones. Now, after few years, i decided to launch a crusade. When i was selecting its target, i noticed that some provinces became red (I think they were Tripoli, PAlestine, Antioch, and Edessea. But not sure). These provinces were claimed by egyptians, but egypt too, and it didn't became red. Why's that? http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/dizzy.gif

IIRC, red provinces are GA crusade objectives (Tripoli, Jerusalem, Antioch and Edessa). White provinces are where you can launch crusade to but are not GA objectives.

Ok, but now i remember that in the late period the glorious objective is to build a cathedral, not crusades, so?

Yes. The objectives are different from faction to faction and also by period. However, those 4 provinces (the Holy Land) give you more point than others (reclaiming the Holy Land).
