Most of you don't know me, aside from the odd MP battle.....
The thing that keeps me out of the virtual BattleField (aka job) is at Network Warfare Command. We are charged with the (virtual) defense of the United States' Computer Networks---Information Assurance (IA).

This is a heads up. The news media SHOULD (???&#33http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif be talking about it soon (once it waddles through all the red tape) on July 6 2003, a hackerfest reputably is going down--the winner allegedly will receive 500mb free webspace & domain name....

This winner will be base on a points system for defacing websites--

such as 3 points for UNIX systems, 1 for Windows (hehe), extra points for .gov or .mil sites, etc. etc.

So all you web masters look to your security (check out www.zdnet.com & IGN for tips & utilities).

I'm personally going to have a complete site off line to replace my primary site if it's hacked.... not likely as I'm a Small fry....in the web world.

Probably not, but you never know http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/joker.gif http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/joker.gif

Didn't know they organised parties for something like that. Who does organise something like that?

Right....

1) everyday is a 'hackerfest'.
2) which government systems would that be? Federal, State, Military?.. uh huh
3) Naval Network Warefare Command (NETWARCOM) which came on line this month is specific to the navy. Not the US government
