Some info I need to know or already know or wish someone would tell me earlier.
1. Weapon and armor upgrades for missile troops. Weapon applies only to melee not to shooting right? So its not a priority for pure archer units. Armor is not worth it against high penatration missile units, so if you a province only for missile units it not worth it. Same goes for artillary. Of course if you want archers to melee then go for it.
2. Ctrl S & ctrl L saves and loads in campaign, but I can't find it in the manual or readme.
3. Arbalests wins pavise crossbows in shoot outs.
4. In a MAA vs MAA battle, the one that goes to wedge formation and charges wins. Wedge gives +4 attack and +4 defense right?
5. Build watchtowers, border forts and town watch as they give 20/30/10 happiness respectively. If loyaty still isn't good enough go for churches/brothels.
6. For lower end forts, it might be better to expend men rushing the gates than spending $ on artillery. Not to mention the costs of the siege workshops.
7. Pope can only give warning for one nation at a time. So wage war on another Catholic nation during the 10 years.
8. You can assasinate your own units to increase your assasins valor. Emissaries are good. Does doing it to generals harm other units' loyalty if you fail?
9. Iron is too important, thats why I like the Spanish.
10. Naval units support cost is higher further from nearest port. So keep the large fleet at home until you need them.
11. Spam the map with emmisaries so you know whats going on .
