Apologies if this has been answered before, but, I got ANOTHER new computer to play yet ANOTHER TotalWar game. (That is, I've paid on the order of 3000 dollars to play two games My last comp kept locking up during battles so I had to put MedTW on the shelf til now)
Playing as the Turks, I quickly destroyed the foolish Egytians and, after a short redeployment of forces, found myself unable to restrain myself from attacking the foolish Byantines. (Notice I did NOT attack the English, who have put a continent and two oceans between us, ergo, the English are NOT foolish)
Anyway, Having taken everything in Asia from them, I quickly took Constantinople, then Greece and Bulgaria (their last continental holdings) on the same year, capturing the foolish Byzantine king, too. He ransomed himself, was returned to the island holdings and, LO, I found they were no longer belligerents, merely neutrals
The question being, why did the war end without any negotiations, etc? Anyone got an answer? Thanks
